About the workshop

Join me for a transformative journey into the world of breath  and energy. The Mind & Breath Intensive Course is designed to elevate your yoga practice and revitalize your body and mind. It incorporates traditional  yoga detox (Kriya) and breath (Pranayama) techniques that are both easy  to learn and profoundly effective.

The entire course consists of one workshop on Sunday, followed by five morning practices.

Workshop Sunday 21 April, 14:00 – 16:00

5 Morning Practices Monday 22 April – Friday 26 April, 7:45 – 8:45

Thursday’s class (25 April) will be held online, with 30 days of access to the recording. 

In this  6-day intensive course, you’ll discover the power of Pranayama and Kriya  techniques that have been practiced for centuries. These techniques are  known to:

  • Increase energy levels
  • Sharpen mental focus
  • Enhance immunity
  • Elevate feelings of joyfulness
  • Purify the body

After just one week of daily practice, you will feel significantly  rejuvenated and empowered with new tools to incorporate into your  personal yoga practice for a healthier and stronger you.

The journey begins with a 2-hour workshop on Sunday, where Liz will  guide you through these transformative techniques step by step:

  • Kapalbhati: Cleansing the lungs and strengthening the diaphragm muscle
  • Nadi Shodhana: Balancing the right and left brain hemispheres
  • Kumbhaka and Bandhas: Retaining energy within the body
  • Agni Sara: Cleansing the digestive system
  • Bhramari: Quieting the mind
  • Bhastrika: Increasing energy
  • Ujjayi: Regulating the whole mind-body system

Over the next 5 mornings, Liz will lead you through daily practices  that combine everything you’ve learned into a dynamic and energizing  routine. On Thursday morning, you’ll enjoy a home practice session with  Liz, conducted live online. You’ll also have access to this recording  for 30 days, extending your pranayama intensive throughout the month.

Pranayama is a powerful detoxifying practice, so we encourage  students to maintain a healthy lifestyle during the course. We kindly  request that you refrain from alcohol, smoking, and eating meat for at  least one week prior to the course start.

This intensive is recommended for students with:

  • More than 3 months of yoga experience
  • Comfort with sitting
  • Confidence in diaphragmatic, nose breathing
  • Please note that this course is not suitable for pregnant  individuals or those with a history of serious mental health challenges.
