Rotterdam Sound Bath

About the workshop
A Sound Bath is an immersive experience of deep relaxation, a simple and supported journey into a meditative state of profound self-discovery.
Himalayan singing bowls are finely tuned sonic tools. Their sound vibrations induce in the brain a profoundly relaxing waking-dream state, encouraging the release of deep-seated physical and mental tensions, while re-balancing the body's often overstrained and under-functioning systems.
To support this profound letting go, I borrow tools from the Yoga Nidra tradition, using spoken words to gently guide participants into even deeper states of rest.
Studies have shown that Sound Baths can regulate blood pressure, enhance sleep, reduce the experience of chronic pain, and produce in participants spontaneous feelings of clarity, calmness and contentment. If you've never experienced a Sound Bath before, come give it a try!
